Daniel Torres is a trombonist and private instructor based in the Middle Tennessee area. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Trombone Performance from Belmont University and works with students of all levels in private and ensemble settings.

Daniel began his musical journey in fourth-grade band and continued through high school band, where he developed his foundation as a trombonist and discovered a deeper commitment to performance. Daniel was a corps member of Music City Drum Corps and later marched with Phantom Regiment. During this time, he developed a strong foundation in performance, discipline, and ensemble collaboration at a high level within the drum corps community.
He went on to study at Belmont University, where he earned a Bachelor of Music in Classical Music Performance with a focus on trombone under the guidance of Dr. Jeffrey Phillips. During his time there, he served as principal trombonist in almost every university ensemble, establishing himself as both a skilled performer and a leader within the program.
Throughout his career, Daniel has performed with a wide range of ensembles, including the Nashville Community Concert Band, Williamson County Community Band, Nashville Philharmonic Orchestra, SoulTrip, Spring House Theater Company, Wasatch Show Band, and Nashville Salsa Collective. He has also performed and recorded alongside artists such as The Lister Brothers, WannaBeatles, Waker (formerly Koa), and Brianna Murphy, further expanding his versatility across genres and performance settings.
Today, Daniel remains active in the music scene, performing with groups like the Music City Brass Ensemble, Bone Therapy, and the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta. In addition to giving private lessons, he has worked with local school programs including Franklin High School, Ravenwood High School, Beech High School, Brentwood High School, Fairview High School, and Rockvale High School.
